We're at 27 goals allowed already. We were at 33 all of last year. No replacement for Adams on the horizon.

Things have really gone south on that front since all of our guys left for duty. Since the Philly game, 14 goals conceded in 5 games (counting the Open Cup). 11 goals conceded in the last 4 league games.

Its not like the days when we could count on star-caliber bench talent like Ruthven and Keel to hold the fort under these kind of circumstances

Best laugh I had today!

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Next int'l window is early Sept? Nations League doesn't start until Oct, so we'll have all of our guys for the next 7 weeks.

I misr-remembered that stretch ... Keel was one of the missing starters!   https://nypost.com/2...ht-1-0-shutout/

We should go get Keysher Fuller. Totally doable.

As a reminder the transfer window officially opened today meaning the following:

* We will likely lose a player or two and get nothing in return or money (that we wont use), with the following quote "This gives us roster flexibility" even though we have an open roster spot and INTL spot.

* We may sign a player from the USL team come August 7th when the window closes and Hamlett once again does nothing to improve the team.
* Jesse Marsch sends us a player that isnt good enough for Salzburg.

Educated guess:
Out- Ivan, Murillo, Etienne Jr., maybe Kaku
In- A Salzburg bench player that is too young and thin, Buckmaster or Rito promoted, GAM, a conditional draft pick, the obligatory lower division guy with a high ceiling that's overpaid and USL quality at best.

Hearing Florian Valot received his green card.
Certainly helps him keeping a roster spot after two ACL surgeries.

Confirmed by RBNY.

Edgardo Rito or Janos Loebe...

of course.  Gotta think its Rito, given need.   Is he ready?

Any Acadey prospects we can sign?

Maybe Omar Sowe local guy forward.

Seems like everyone else (Dallas Seattle) is signing a lot of 16-19 yr olds.

Won't say no to a 5M dollar winger but we know thats not happening.

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Hamlett was down in Uruguay recently.  Maybe we'll be signing someone as a result of that trip?  Signing a RBII player, as others have speculated about, probably more likely, given recent track record.
