Kaku was never coached by anyone previously employed by an RBG team. Sims was coached by a guy who had 40W 19D 24L record for RBL in 2 seasons once they achieved promotion.

Right. Yeah. Makes perfect sense. Lol.

It does make sense.  The question is, will Armas see it that way?

He's only coached an RBG team for 53 matches, all comps.

So...no. Ha.

But really. In the case of both Kaku and Sims we needed an impact player immediately to get results.

RB dragged their fucking feet and we lost out on CCL. How will this season end?...

...answer: so Metro.

Nothing to do with systems.  Everything to do with paperwork, and dragging our ass to get it done

Trust me, I would love to urinate and defecate all over Sims' face as well if he actually sucks, but we are not there yet. Let's give him a chance and see how he does before we take our drawers off and squat over him.

The only reason Sims is coming here is because of the RB connections. Hamlett waited until the very last minute to sign him on loan and is now dragging his feet in getting Sims over here (which makes his late arrival even.....

Dude, that funny. Like Hamlett had anything to do with Sims signing.

Big boss man did this on his own and told Hamlett to take care of the paperwork....and hes pissing all over his own leg. The same way he had no clue how to do the Kakus deal.

I have a hard time getting mad at Hamlet. He was put in a position hes totally unqualified for.

The New York Red Bulls previously kicked around Major League Soccer as the MetroStars with limited success. But after transforming under a new banner in 2005, the Red Bulls have become a force to be reckoned with in the Eastern Conference. The club has made leaps of progress since its previous incarnation and now has its focus on bringing the league title to New York. Sims put up an Instagram story at 2am this morning that he was on a plane.

Will he start tonight in DC?

That would be pretty ridiculous

no question - preparing to parachute into Audi Field

or maybe EWR to the Mega bus!

I certainly hope he starts.  If travel issues worked so favorably for Santos in the CCL then lets use it to our advantage in the Atlantic Cup ;-)

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

My guess is he just heads to nyc and gets ready for smurfs.

Debut on that pitch might be trash though, Colorado??

Guy has to hit the ground at Henry levels for him to be the real addition we need.

So he'll get some tourist Instagram pics at Yankee Stadium, make the bench with an early sub-on vs Colorado, learn all about MLS travel bullshit for the two-game west coast trip, make his home starting debut in an empty Sunday night stadium vs. the Worms, followed by Wayne Rooney showing him up the next week, then an away game that may be meaningless (for good or bad) or may be do-or-die for the playoffs.
