@tutulismyname on Twitter drops the top 10 g+a per 90 min (excluding penalties) every so often and guess who is currently top of the league?

not any current NYRB player perhaps?

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

With only one player on the roster with more than 2 goals (Royer) I'd be surprised if we had anyone crack the top 100 lol

Great for BWP. He certainly wouldn't be having the same season here.

Still no info on 2020 wages, would love to know how much he signed on for LAFC

Hard to imagine him doing worse than our current starting forward.

I recently read they aren't releasing salaries this year due to some of the changes with COVID.

Oh he would have been better than our options for sure, but I doubt he would be leading the league. Our guys have been bad at finishing but also haven't had all that many great chances, especially earlier in the season.

Don't think the PA will be releasing them.

Heard it was 300-400k.

Frankly, since I am merely a fan and a not a fancy American soccer writer, I'm going to congratulate Wright-Phillips on a well hit goal. If I was an American soccer writer, I'd claim that the recently retired Henry was wearing an invisibility cloak and carried the ball into the net for the obviously unskilled Wright-Phillips.

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

Wish he could have finished his career as a Metro.. Maybe one day he comes back... Even off the bench I'd take him..
I just want Metro to win a title sometime in my lifetime.

congrats to him, it was a disgrace they didnt let him try one last season to get it right

wonder what LAFC is paying him. here is last seasons number

Tom Barlow New York Red Bulls F $56,250.00

$56,250.00

Mathias

Jorgensen New York Red Bulls F $275,000.04 $306,250.04

Brian

White New York Red Bulls F $57,225.00 $57,225.00

Bradley

Wright-Phillips New York Red Bulls F $1,200,000.00 $1,380,000.00

I would guess this year looks something like this

Matty ice 300k

white maybe 80-90k

Barlow 70-80k

bwp maybe 400?

so we spent around 450-500k anyways and all our options were borderline useless

If he takes less money after next year I'd love to see them try to get him back... He'd be a super sub for anyone really and especially for NY and I hope by then Metro have a bonfide DP at CF... But it would be nice to see him back with Metro.. Even if it's a dream at this point I still wanted to say that.

Was rooting for him but he was absolutely invisible last night, they said something on the broadcast that he only had like 7 touches on the ball which was the lowest in his MLS career.

What a waste of a signing and Tetteh. Then you wonder why we suck so much.

He has always needed quality service and when not provided that is pretty much a non-entity out there. Can't contribute all that much no matter how many smart runs into space he executes.

Well, you know how it is in tournaments for him. In league play he's fine.
