Absolutely no excuse not to get 3 points here. Columbus has arguably been the worst team in the league since the first 6 games of the season, though I recognize theyve gotten results in their last 2.

Columbus hasn't won away since they beat Brad Friedel's New England in the second game of the season. Since then, they have played 9 away games - in those 9 games, they have scored 5 goals and been shutout 6 times.

Absolutely no excuses.

I don't like how many games in hand NYCFC has on us.

What's the playoff scenario this year?  Only #1 gets a bye?  And 4 and above get the first game at home?

Had we held on to that 2-0 lead in Chester,
we would currently be 1E on 37 points.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Orlando at home

Chicago away

New England away (when Friedel was still HC)

Montreal at home

Vancouver at home

the above 5 results were to teams that are currently beneath us in the standings.

Worst road team in the league, other than Chicago.

We really need to pick up 6 points in these 2 home games versus Columbus and Toronto. Our following 7 games feature 5 road games: LAFC, DC, NYCFC, Seattle, Portland. That is an absolutely brutal stretch.

Trap game crap game

Was it last year when we rotated our starters against them at RBA, and we went down like 0-3 in the first 20 mins? I have never left a game early until that day.

Yes that was last year. Ultimately ended up losing 3-2 and making it interesting up until the end.

The next four matches are all weekend games with a full week off, we could easily see the same XI each time no reason to rotate.

BWP
Royer - Kaku - DE7
RZA - CCJ
Taxi - Long - Parker - Murillo
Robles

Meara, Tarek, Davis, Muyl, Omir, Ivan, White

Davis hasnt been good CCJ is our #1 CM currently so maybe sit him one game to get his head right.

Lets see what BWP can do with a start if hes really moved to super sub then fair enough I just think come playoff time it needs to be BWP.

Let DE7 get another start and see if he can win that RW spot.

Feel bad not starting tarek but unless we go 532 hes gonna be sitting.

Something like this could be interesting though. That weird 3331 we played under Marsh for a bit.

BWP
Royer - Kaku - DE7
Taxi - CCJ - Murillo
Tarek - Long Parker
Robles

Bwp may eventually be our starter again but as others have mentioned, he looked gassed even coming on late in the 2nd half vs Orlando. It would be silly so start him this weekend if he's still nowhere near game fit. Instead I'd ride the hot hand and start white, with Bwp in the 2nd half (AS A FORWARD NOT A MIDFIELDER) as necessary.

I've already conceded that we will not again have a BWP like the BWP we've known, to go along with not having anything resembling Tyler Adams, and not even an equivalent replacement for a seemingly replaceable Valot.    We are going into the playoffs with about what we've got right now, and can only hope for a shit ton of luck to make it remotely interesting.
