Great article.

The last paragraph eludes to the fact that Tyler may be leaving shortly.

Fantastic article. I thought the ending was more about whatever happens in the playoffs vs whatever happens in regards to his transfer.

Either way, we know he's gone in January, and it's been great to have him during his rise.
Frankly, since I am merely a fan and a not a fancy American soccer writer, I'm going to congratulate Wright-Phillips on a well hit goal. If I was an American soccer writer, I'd claim that the recently retired Henry was wearing an invisibility cloak and carried the ball into the net for the obviously unskilled Wright-Phillips.

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

Great article!

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Is there a better advertisement for the Academy than Tyler Adams?

Excellent read. He's definitely probably leaving after this season.

It seems Philly fans have signed up on metrofanatic to vote for themselves (in 'What team do you hate more?') . No real fan of this team would vote anything other than DC.

If I had to guess, I'd say that there is a 60% chance he is 100% leaving.

Worked for Oasis...(nearly).

Yeah, he's 100% gone. I'm glad he & his mom found a good family to bond with, and that his experience worked out. Lotta broken homes stay broken (mine included), his got fixed. Need more stories like that.

I remember being at Tim Howard's last game, and pretty stunned that the 18 year old kid we signed off of a basketball team was going to ManUtd.  Didn't work out there, but he had a great career at Everton & found a real home there.

I remember being really excited for Jozy leaving, and was hopeful that things would work out at Villareal.  Other than a stint for AZ Alkmaar, he never really found his groove in Europe.

I remember being really optimistic for Michael Bradley leaving, really happy with how things were going until he got to Roma, and really sad that it ended the way it did.

I hope Adams has a career in Europe so great that we don't see him back in MLS for 15 years.

I'm going to be really pissed if he's back in MLS at 23, and somehow playing for Nashville or some shit.
