But for a company valued at more than $3 trillion, $2.5 billion is the kind of money that could eventually be judged as a sunk cost if MLS Season Pass isn’t experiencing significant growth in revenues several years from now."
10 year commitment to such a drastic change, another crazypills aspect of this. What if its a disaster 3 years in and "TV" viewership has all but vanished? This could really hurt the league.
