This game didnt really change my thoughts about the team overall. We were lucky to win.

- Lade probably had the best game of career. Still can't believe that he hit a banger with his left like that. IF we must use him, using him on the wing of a back 5 is clearly the spot that suits him the most/exposes him the least.

- Murillo looks out of it again. We know he has skill, but he's just been doing dumb stuff for some time now. Not sure where his head is at.

- Jorgensen looks lost. He has shown absolutely nothing so far. Its still early, but I think the expectations for him this this year are basically 0.

- Wouldn't mind throwing Etienne out there. Especially with how bleak we look on attack. At least we know he will take guys 1v1 / have some creativity.

- Tarek looked decent. Would be interested to see more of him in a back 3 formation.

Also not counting goalkeepers.

BETWEEN goals.  Means, they would have to have scored at least two goals, which is why you don't see Roy Miller on the list.

What's the CB depth to consistently roll with 3 at the back?

Long

Parker

Tarek

Niallis

Scarlett?

Because this team has an almost magical ability to pick up injuries that expose where depth is lacking. Losing Ndam continues to suck.

Ndam hasn't played yet for Cincinnati. All signs point to him not being an MLS-caliber player at the moment.

Anyway, add Kemar and Murillo to that back 3 depth. The wide CBs can (maybe even should) be guys who are natural fullbacks who are at least 5'10". Think Azpilicueta at Chelsea.

Per MLS, Ndam is on season-long loan to a USL team. The type which allows the team the extra roster spot but doesnt allow him to return this season. Which team? They never announced it nor has he played for anyone. Very curious case.

We should offer a couple Garber Bucks for him. Nealis hasn't overly impressed me, although he's played every minute for the USL team this season. Raw talent, but needs time. USL signed guys: Boateng has been injured and has seen zero minutes. Scarlett impresses at times but is pretty bad 1v1. Kilwien isn't close to being ready.

I knew they should've went into the season with more than they had at CB to compensate for a switch to 3man backline.

Agreed. If we roll with 3 CBs I guarantee we will have a significant injury here.

If this is the plan moving forward, then they need to add another CB this summer.

He's looked shit yes but we are hoping he regains his form and we can throw him in there a the right cb in a 3 man back line as we saw he did in 2017 when Adams played the right wing back role.

Yep.

Completely writing him off is short-sighted and stupid.

I hope he regains it too. But I dont think its going to happen.

...Could be a coaching issue. Armas May have lost him. Another coach could come in and hed magically turn all this around. Wouldnt count on that but its possible.

Apparently Ndam just got loaned to Charlotte Independence today.
