We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Of course the home game has to be the same day as the Devils game that's a mile and a half away. So damn annoying but I'll be there cause the Devils suck this year anyway.

Yea, I mean who the hell cares about a Devils regular season game on a Wenesday against Calgary in Ferbruary. Especially during a season like this. And I'm saying this as a die hard Devils fan. I'll choose the CCL game 10/10 times.

But it's Johnny Hawkey himself, Johnny Goudreau...

It's more of annoyance for those of us who are season ticket holders for both when the champions league game could have been Tuesday or Thursday. There's a decent amount of people that have both.

Chivas did not do much with the championship.

And Chivas lose the consolation match:

Or dare I say Saturday or Sunday?

Domestic League games are on the weekends. Champions League / Europa League games are midweek. That is the standard for UEFA, CONMEBOL and CONCACAF, and probably the other federations too.

It's being played behind closed doors because of problems with Olimpias fans during their previous tournament. I think they got sanctioned 6 games.

Damn, that's rough.

Frankly, since I am merely a fan and a not a fancy American soccer writer, I'm going to congratulate Wright-Phillips on a well hit goal. If I was an American soccer writer, I'd claim that the recently retired Henry was wearing an invisibility cloak and carried the ball into the net for the obviously unskilled Wright-Phillips.

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

After the 0-0 2nd leg at RBA & 1-0 agg. loss:

this was the most soulcrushing disappointing moment ever for a team with a never-ending list of them.
