What is the deal with the Tetteh?

There's no way fitness is still the excuse right?

I'd say that's more plausible than Barlow outplaying him in practice...

sorry to say that he seems to be like that Norwegian guy from a few years ago under Marsch by way of Bob Bradley.  Skill but needs significant fitness.  In 6 weeks I could probably gain enough fitness to be play 45 - my sprint look like casual jog.

Really hoping he gets time against Montreal and hustles his butt off not only to make the team but to show the Montreal coach he has game AND effort because Henry did not lack effort by any means.

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

I was excited when he entered the match, but there was a counter attack at one point in which Duncan and Long both out sprinted him. That's worrying me a bit about how ready he really is and if he just is not quick enough for this level.

I rarely watch highlights from prior teams, but has anyone seen him in YouTube videos looking like he's burning defenders with speed?

Anyone get a feel for him vs. Montreal? Might have been the libations, but I don't really recall seeing anything.

Thought he looked better than his previous 10 minute cameo. Got in to good spots and had more energy.

Hope these final 9 matches give Thelwell the information he needs to make a decision on exercising the purchase option.

I remember he got a somewhat decent opportunity in the box and promptly shot well over the bar as we've been used to from strikers all season.

Good point. Good reason to start him against the purple guys - I sort of prefer Barlow after Montreal, but forgot about the purchase option... Have to get data to make decision on Tetteh for next year.

Saw that if he stays, he's either TAM or regular DP.

Wow. Didnt know that. Unless Thelwell has already made a decision not to purchase based on practice or something else, I would think he'd see at least 60%+ of remaining minutes.

Seems like a redux of the Sims situation, although that predated Thelwell.

Trial period to see if Tetteh warrants the TAM or DP $$ for 2021 and beyond.

I really feel Barlow earned starting spot for next game. But if he is back to sucking, wouldn't mind seeing Tetteh for about half the game next Sat.
