I'm not saying you can't point out what the team has struggled with, I do all the time. I'm not gonna put up a strong argument against anything you wrote there.
But theres a flip side to that coin, why can't I point out when certain things go well or when the team is in a tough position to win without it just being a bunch of excuses? We're just gonna complain until they're back on the brink of an MLS Cup cause anything else is letting them off the hook? If that's how you want to spend your time following the team knock yourself out, that type of sports fandom isn't for me.
Although as far as excuses go, injury bugs are pretty legit imo. I don't think you see many teams win championships in any league when 25-50% of the team's best players spend most of the season on the sideline. Especially true in MLS where the cap means you can't spend much on depth.

It's always some sort of an excuse for this team.
You prefer I just kick and scream when we lose? This was a difficult game for legitimate reasons other than "we suck". The team came close to a point under those circumstances, sorry that I don't see it as a total disaster.

I really thought this would be a breakout season for Yearwood, and while the preseason injury didn't help I'm leaning towards agreeing that he doesn't really have a place in this team he can thrive.
Our #6's are playing more conservatively this year so he's not a good fit there. He's clearly not a #10/striker as we've seen the last few weeks. I can only really imagine him being the #8 in a different formation but you kinda have to build the midfield around him because of what a wildcard he is, and he's not good enough to warrant that.
Assuming he's nearing the end of his contract, if someone is willing to make a reasonable offer this summer I'd be inclined to take it.

Only way being up a man helps is if we're already winning and the other team needs to attack. We go up a man while they're already sitting back what even changes? Passing through 10 men isn't much easier than passing through 11.
Seeing a lot of gripes about the talent too, and not much recognition that we were missing at least half our starting lineup in the midst of crazy part of the schedule

Probably the worst half of the season so far. They look injury-ridden and travel-weary for perfectly reasonable reasons. I also don't think Troy rolled out the best lineup for this personel tonight. Fingers crossed to see some changes in the second half.
