Was he technically still on the roster? Figured after how poorly he stepped up this season he was destined for a career in the lower divisions.

some guys, like Karl, were given a chance to see if they can make a 1st team roster, contribute when asked. guess his time for RB2 indicated that's more to his level.

Was good as a depth guy in 2015 and nowhere near as good when called upon again last season. Don't see him raising his game another level at this point in his career. Always gonna be a USL/NASL guy or a bench/depth guy on an MLS roster.

It will be interesting to see if he still gets called up to the Canadian national team after bombing out of the MLS.
He's in their camp right now, and they've recently called up defenders playing in the German third division and in Hungary. Beggars can't be choosers.

Canada is similar to USMNT in early MLS. Less than several Euro guys at the 1st Div lvl with a few at 2nd div or lower, plus a bunch of players in North America in varying divisions.
