But a bunch of us were saying that last yr. And then they performed well the rest of the season.

Schelloto is class and I'm still jealous and wondering why he's there instead of here.

This is why it's absurd to get excited over these off-season acquisitions*. The track record of them panning out is... well... worse than some DC supporters seem to think. He's pretty typical of Argentine second division defenders. Just remember that when we sign Imhoff to a contract and JCO promises he'll knock our socks off.
On the other hand, it's early in the season, and DC started pretty shitty last year too. Although... to lose 4:0 to Salt Lake and then at home to Columbus... Here's hoping.
*But are shitty off-season acquisitions worse than no off-season acquisitions?

They started the same way last season so dunno, but not a good sign then again we didn't go errrr 4-0 sooo maybe change in fortunes, but dunno yet.
Not exactly. Here's DC's results from last year.
They did start the season 0-3.
2-1 loss @ Colorado
4-2 loss home to KC. (Johnson scored 2 or 3 goals that game and dominated).
1-0 loss @ Columbus
This year:
2-0 loss @ KC
4-1 win over TFC
4-0 loss @ RSL
2-1 loss to Columbus
-----------------
I see what you are saying, but this years results are worse. A horrible beating at RSL and a loss at home to Columbus. And they were outplayed in both games.
Their defense is complete crap. And Gallardo is a nice player, but I don't think he'll have the impact his salary dictates. He's no Blanco.

Schelloto is class and I'm still jealous and wondering why he's there instead of here.
Someone in the "know" up in Foxboro told me New England had first dibs at Scheletto and passed on him. Now imagine that midfield with Ralston on the left, Shalrie in the pocket, and GBS feeding ex-wife gets half for goal after goal.
We're lucky he's in Columbus...

Ironically they turned it around after thumping NY at home in mid June. They aren't clicking.

Hey, what do you know. 6/14, NY @ DC.

I know, don't remind me.
I always love when they lose in front of all those supporters.
Each game afterwards you can really see a difference in their attendence.
But remember, this year their tagline is "This is OUR HOUSE"
Morons.
Pregame pints 15. Ticket to the game 60. Carlsburg, Meatpie and Crisps 16. Seeing an American score on another American at a Premier League match in England; Priceless.

When it comes to Metro, I think they're one in the same.

BWAH HAH HAH. If I never have to see his whining, diving, bitching and cheating on a soccer field again, this season is a success.
