Per Dyer

I know Perrinelle had his rough moments, but IMO he should supplant Olave in the Best XI. He was massive during the 2015 Supporters' Shield year.

Finally have some roster rumors from Dyer.  Perrinelle and Baah are not expected back. We couldn't keep both Baah and Collin and get a new highly paid CB, and of the two would rather roll the dice with Collin.

That injury in the 2015 derailed him. Sad to see you go, but it was time.

Baah, whatever.

Sad to see injuries cost them time here, but it would have been irresponsible to count on either of these guys moving forward.

Best of luck to both of them.

The way I read that, I thought Dyer was stating that opinion about Perri vs Olave, and it shocked me.  Olave is a contender for GOAT in MLS at his position.     I know we got him at the end, but still.

Anyway, this means we MUST be signing a big $ CB.  No way in hell we are relying on Collin being the man next year.

Collin will be fodder for the expansion draft, along with SK.

Perry Nelly will be missed. One of my favorites.

Remember when Baah shut down Giovinco that one time before his leg exploded?

Good times.

Liked Perinnelle when he was on - slow guy made the best of it (kind like me when I play)

Baah - sad for a guy to have same massive injury.

Best of luck to both

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Was always a big fan of Perinelle.  Dude never got paid as a starter but what always basically a starter.  And a good one.  Not fast but didn't matter much with him because he was able to squash plays before they started.

All in all, I'm happy with this.  Baah's injury was major and clearly a game changer.  Now we clear that money and can hopefully sign a more trustworthy player there. As much of a fan as I was of Perinelle, that was also time.

And what I like is that it seems like we will be keeping Collin next year.  I think the pendulum is gonna swing back the other way big time in terms of him starting and playing well.

I will remember DP as someone who had a pretty solid career here. Always liked him, the DP-Miazga pairing was probably the best in team history.

Baah was a bust, but what team hasn't had an acquisition totally flop due to injury before? It happens.

We need to go get a 26-28 year old Perrinelle-level player.

Absolutely.  Exactly what we need.

Don't agree with Dyer that Perry was "dazzling" in the playoffs. That first Toronto goal.... oomph.
