Just further guarantee that Marsch is gone last night.  Late in the post game Cangiolosi said that Marsch told him before the game that "this would not be the last MLS game he coaches" which basically means there is a last game coming up soon.

My guess is the Dallas game will be his last.

Again, don't think it will affect us big time this year because I don't think midseason coaching changes mean as much, but next year will be the most telling.

Would be absolutely shocked if Armas doens't take over.

Leipzig or Salzburg. If Salzburg then that coach moves over to Leipzig.

I personally hopes he stays a long time... Why not at least till 2022..
I hope he coaches the Nats for 2026...
I just want Metro to win a title sometime in my lifetime.

I think with the way he coaches and Red Bulls style of running soccer clubs
. There will always be emphasis on young sides that renovate often...

The two fit well... Potential for a very long tenure as manager maybe even another decade or more...
I just want Metro to win a title sometime in my lifetime.

Ive been one of the ones that has always thought hes overrated. At least BWP wont be starting at the 10 spot in the playoffs!

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

there really hasnt been any actual german reporting on this, at least not from credible sources, so im still a bit skeptical but maybe the rb machine has just kept a really tight lid on this. but going straight to leipzig does seem like a bit of a jump, even within rb's internal hiring scheme. hassenhuttl already had quite a bit of 1st team experience in germany before getting the job in leipzig, while salzburg generally has also tended towards hiring more experienced coaches, they do seem to take more risks on hiring less experienced coaches

I think hes gone. If you watched the post-game presser after the NYCFC open cup game, I think its pretty clear. Marsch was asked about a Bild story that had appeared the day before, which said he would be appointed during MLS world cup break. He offered a sheepish no comment, whereas in the past hes offered unequivocal denials of such rumors.

If true, Jesse Marsch jumps to the most high profile American in a head coaching position in soccer.

"Obviously, I want to make a living (in soccer), to say the least," he said. "There's so much you can accomplish in the soccer world, and right now I'm focused on having a good season with the Red Bulls. Ultimately, our goal is to win the MLS Cup, and I see no reason why we can't." - #4 Tyler Adams

Im not gonna lie, I'm sad i wont be able to see him coach again if this is true. Im headed to Russia for some matches tomorrow and if he goes before I get back someone make a little extra noise for me after the Dallas match!!
