ATL is enroute to three cups in less than a year.
According to MF, the second cup is made-up.
So do not fret.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Super cups don't count for shit. They're as important as our Emirates Cup.
We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.
Playoffs matter. The single-game, clear-money-grab "cups" are utterly useless for fans and players.Participants have to win their domestic leagues playoff cup to qualify, which is an accomplishment yet to befall us. So, I would say that your opinion counts for shit.
You could argue that CCL is dumb shit too. The games are barely televised or attended. No one here or elsewhere really gives a fuck about it outside of a small contingent of MLS diehards. Open Cup at MSU is a bigger draw.Playoffs matter. The single-game, clear-money-grab "cups" are utterly useless for fans and players.
Winning the domestic playoffs gets a club into a continental tournament that matters. This dumb-shit "Campeones Cup" does not.
Playoffs matter ... single-game "cups" are ... useless.

Playoffs are a gimmick, too!

What does this mean? If the Red Bulls were competing for the cup- you would't watch? You wouldn't care if they won? The Atlanta players and fans celebrating seemed to find it useful.
I get that winning the MLS Cup is the only way to get a star on the shirt, but if you like watching your favorite team compete and win then it's all useful.
MF reports on closed door scrimmages so I'm willing to believe that for MF everything matters.
