Schedule to be officially released on June 13:

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

VAR in 2019-2020? Can't believe the richest league in soccer went without it last season. Perhaps if they did have it, the final standings would have turned out differently.

The teams specifically voted to delay for a year, apparently for "more testing."

Shelf life of Chelsea managers continues to be brief:

I guess they prefer to complain about the officiating than do something about it. VAR will correct many mistakes, but not all, and introduce a very small amount of errors. But on balance it is fantastic. Like that near goal yesterday in the WWC that was less than an inch from crossing the goal line.

season starts in 2 mins (NBC Sports) - Liverpool vs Norwich. I never followed EPL aside from a game here and there. However, with Pulisic now on Chelsea, and with my coworkers all doing a fantasy EPL league (which I just joined), I'll try and catch more games this year.

I have a $25 bet on Chelsea to win the EPL this year (33:1 odds), so I'll be actively rooting for all the other top teams to lose or tie. Come on Norwich!!

Thats nice odds for a Big 6 club and worth a $25 flier, but I would be absolutely stunned if City or Liverpool dont finish top of the table

😂
Meanwhile, VAR radios fail, delay start of 2d half.
Refs leave the whistling to the fans.

I turned it off after 0-2. Have Van Dijk on my fantasy EPL team so I'm glad he scored at least

Chelsea looks like shit. I wonder if I can surrender my bet and at least get some $$ back.  I would be shocked if they even make Europa this year
