The games kickoff this Sunday, June 5th @ Bank of America stadium in Charlotte, NC with Costa Rica playing Cuba, and Mexico playing El Salvador.
I've been trying for months to find someone to go with me, but no takers so far. I'll probably go on my own, and scalp a cheap ticket after the game starts.

Not really the Gold Cup, but it's a warm up to it. Game is tomorrow (Saturday June 4th) and starts @ 1:30 PM PT on ESPN.
Mexico plays Hungary @ 7:15 AM on GolTV.
I'd have to imagine that both the US and Mexico will be starting with something similar to what they intend to play in the Gold Cup, and then make a few tweaks at the end of the first half, followed by wholesale lineup swaps by a third of way through the second.
In other non Gold Cup news:
- England plays Sweden in Euro Qualifying on FSC @ 8:45 AM PT
- Greece play Malta @11:30 on a channel no one can get
- Brazil play the Netherlands for who knows why on Telefutura @ 1:00 PM.

The MLS record was set when we got our 1st star.
The Los Angeles Galaxy beat the host New England Revolution 1-0 in the second overtime on a sudden-death goal from regular season scoring champion Carlos Ruíz. To date it has the largest attendance (61,316) of any MLS Cup.

How odd is that there were tons of empty seats at Wembley for England's Euro qualifier, and the US is playing in front of a raucous, pro US crowd?

FYPWe are getting ass raped.
Our defense looks HORRIBLE
And watching Onyewu try to dribble past 2 defenders on the sideline is akin to watching NFL lineman do ballet.
Fake Edit: Robbie Rogers just had 1/2 a chance.

Did anyone tell Spain that this was a friendly?
If not, we just need to start hurting some people.
