Leaving Barlow unprotected might be the only possible way to get him off this roster. Please Red Bulls dont fuck this up

Once the list of unprotected players comes out, we should cut a deal with St. Louis to beef up our squad. i could see Carnell target our squad for players. Might as well give him what he wants plus another player if he can help us out.

I see it more likely that we give him to them outside of the draft in return for them agreeing not to take anyone else.

This would be the classic MLS move, but I also love how we're all just assuming St. Louis has neglected to actually watch Barlow and want him because he's from the area.

Barlow is the premier defensive forward in the league who was among the league leaders in games played, aerials won, clearances, and tackles!

Imo Omir would be the perfect expansion team signing. Domestic l, young ish, playable in a couple spots

Barlow as a back up defensive replacement would be a good fit for a pressing team that has quality strikers.

St Louis is heavy on internationals, they are going to need some domestic depth. Not saying that Barlow is the best choice for them purely on talent, but being a home town kid and familiarity with Carnell should up the chances somewhat.

Its funny how everyone is trying to talk themselves into st. Louis taking Barlow. There are plenty of better options we wont protect for them to take from our squad.

They paid 100K for Stroud who has done less in MLS than Barlow!

Stroud is a more talented player.

I know Barlow was protected which is beyond understanding, but Klimala being unprotected I would think may give us a glimpse of their plans with him.  I know they don't have to worry about anyone taking him, but at least it shows a willingness to lose him.

Klimala is the most important one to get off this roster because that position needs the biggest improvement.

Klimala unprotected is honestly genius. Expansion that already signed DPs isnt touching him. Protecting Elias means hes coming back.

Im worried about losing sswerwadda. And then if we lose nocita after trading up for him..just lol

It would be hilarious is Nocita was taken.
