according to mlssoccer.com they interviewed Armas (amongst others) for the coaching job. I want him to find a job but not THAT job. I thought he would be good for us as I thought Marsch was a lot of hot air. Oh how wrong I can be. Based on his reputation as a player and the strength of his character i think he could be a successful coach if he finds the right fit.

they interviewed Armas ... for the coaching job.
Those who believe that he is not HC material
should hope that he is hired by the Scum.
We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Parker and Long look so much better since he's left. There was a line of thinking that Adams was the reason the CBs looked so in 2018 and his departure hurt their game. Turns out it was more Armas' arrivalI that was the problem. Armas' departure got them both back on track.
Better player than Marsch, but way too conservative. I always felt like he wanted to win 1-0 matches. Would be an easy transition from OLSEN to Armas in that regard...

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

In addition to Ashton, the other candidates are reportedly Columbus Crew SC assistant coach Ezra Hendrickson, former US women's national team head coach Jill Ellis and former New York Red Bulls coach Chris Armas.

It makes sense, Armas is an Olsen-type coach.
At least Armas is not a whiner.
Other than that...
