Still no word on Thorsheim though...
I wonder if the deal for Mbaye fell through.
Christ Thorsheim signed with, no joke, Middelfart Boldklub of the Danish Second Division. Which I think is their 3rd division.

Wiki:
The name Middelfart, first recorded as "Mæthælfar" in Valdemar's Census Book in 1231, consists of the old Danish word mæthal meaning "middle" and far meaning "way". This name originally referred to the strait Snævringen ("the narrowing"), which is the narrowest part of the Little Belt, and was subsequently applied to the settlement, as well.

Mael Corboz is in Germany with Duisburg on an extended trial. He signed and played with Wilmington in the USL but Wilmington will cease operations at the end of the season.
Scotty Thomsen signed with Richmond Kickers in late July. Just played his first full game with them and notched a goal on Saturday.
Chris Thorsheim signed with Middlefart earlier this month. He has been trialing in Europe for a few months now.
Finally, Santi Castano has been training on and off with Atletico Nacional since his release.

Still one of my fav minor Metro memories - RB U23 against Chatanooga. I was shitfaced after the first game, so me and my buddy are in the front yelling to give the ball to Thomsen (because he was the closest player to us). Eventually we got like 20 ppl near us cheering every time Thomsen got the ball, damn near stormed the pitch when he scored.
