Or perhaps they need to send Murillo to the bench in favor of Duncan, get Taxi back on the field ASAP, and sit Kaku down and tell him if you have any hope of getting transferred out of here you better play your a$$ off whenever you return from suspension. In the meantime:

BWP

Royer - Rza - Omir/Ivan

Davis - CCJ

Duncan - Long - Parker - Muyl

Robles

Duncan CANNOT play on the left.    He made Lade on his worst day look like a better option.

Muyl is turning into our Milner.

Something ain't right with Taxi.

To be fair, something ain't right with <insert virtually anything in the organization> right now.

The only thing i can take heart in is that compared to my other NY teams, at least this one is only this bad once every 10 years. The Mets and Jets are the other way around for me.

Play Duncan on the right and Muyl on the left.

What's going on with Lawrence? He's been non-stop injured/missing games for more than six months now.

Guy got injured two weeks before one of the most important games in his career in Atlanta and did not play in either leg.

It had to have been a serious injury and we should have planned accordingly in the off season. This is what happens when you count on guys coming back from serious injury. Although theyre all different situations have we gotten even HALF of what we wanted from Taxi, Duncan. And Valot? No. Should have addressed it. Now we pay.

Valot tore a different ACL from a red card deserving tackle. Very little of which can be attributed to his prior injury.

Duncan looked better than he did last year when the season started. Had two off games (one at left back) and suddenly everyone forgets we were saying "We dont need Murillo" to start the season.

Thats why I said they are different situations.

And I stand by we dont need Murillo. We dont. Cause he cant defend. Duncan needs to take his spot on the right. Id rather live through his growing pains than watch a traffic cone.

At this point, what do we have to lose? We already started off terrible and it is looking more and more like 2019 will be an x9 HEX season. Let Duncan grow by getting some solid minutes this Year. Maybe push Murillo up to RW and switch Royer to LW. What do we have to lose?

MLS squads are not deep enough to compensate for lost key players. Lawrence and Valot are major losses. RB went out and signed what it thought would be major additions or players about to step up.

14 of the 28 were acquired within the last year.
So, unsuccessful moves have been made.
RZA, Kaku, Parker, Valot, Duncan, Ivan, CCJ, Fernandez, Jorgensen were brought in to fit in.
Who has impressed, from this group, this season?

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

If we lose this game, I think that should be it for Armas.

Is Kaku available to play?

I would start Muyl to change things up if he is available.

Agree.  This season only 2 of 9 - CCJ and Omir.

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

And how many MLS games has each actually started?
Omir 1, CCJ 3 or 4, of 7.

I don't see how Kaku isn't suspended for a few games at the least. It's just ridiculous that it takes this long to announce it if they are suspending him.

I would call the coaching unsuccessful. Not all of those players/moves. Of that list I think only Ivan is useless.

If Armas wasnt screwing around with what was built Im confident Kaku, Parker and Rza would be playing better. Valot is injured. Duncan and Jorgensen are projects. CCJ and Omir have played well.

Its the coach and MAYBE a player or two letting us down.
