Is this game supposed to be on MSG? I seem to remember reading last week somewhere that there still hasnt been an announcement on a contract renewal with MSG.

Yes.  There's no announcement about a contract renewal, and MSG has the programming officially as "TBD"... but the MLS schedule already lists MSG as the broadcaster.

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

Bold move not starting the hot hand of Ivan 😉
Id leave all starters at home

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

i think long got subbed out early so he can play this game.  maybe tarek moves to left back so they can save Lade in case they don't think Taxi can go for 90.

Cbus is a strong team and fans will be super fired up to start this season of all seasons.

If we can play the b squad and get a point that would be fantastic. A big ask. But i am hopeful if foolish to think we can.

We'll see how many of them show up since now they don't have any excuses anymore.

I doubt it sells out.

I would expect there to be a crowded Nordecke.
Am curious to see if the rest fills up.
Save travels, to our fans making the trek to Cowlumbus.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

FWIW, I believe last year the official MSG announcement was March 1st. It would be nice to see something soon.

The official site has MSG listed on the schedule for every non-national game.

Only two of us would read it, but I feel like there's an unwritten book out there that would cover the MSG-RedBulls yearly *completely never discussed, ever* contract renewal deadline brinksmanship deathwatch that renews every spring like some bizarre 1,000 mile salmon migration.

Like...every year our season starts on March 3rd or whatever and February 28th dudes are sitting around a table going "well....I just don't know...."

No one has ever heard of a 2 year contract? No one can ever get this deal done before the end of February? Rangers are trading half their players away and Knicks season has been over since November...da fuq else is MSG going to do from May on? So strange.
