more important shit going on than to care about the season.

There are always more important and serious things going on than professional sports. I say lets figure out a way to bring sports back. A welcome distraction from pandemics and the economic, social, and political problems that will be with us regardless if teams stay off the field.

So, will the club extend Sims loan? It is over in a month.

Have you heard Alejandro Bedoya (interview with Twellman on Fox)? He said sending the players to Orlando for 8 to 10 weeks with nowhere to go, nothing to do but practice and play, and without their families will essentially be a luxurious prison. Much like MLB, I think the players will not be rushing to support this unfortunately.

All this back and forth is exhausting. Regardless of how transmissible the virus is or how many will die from it, the bottom line for this group is MLS is suspended and will not likely start up before May 15. If we are that fortunate, teams can be playing games in empty stadiums by June, after a few weeks of team practices. Personally, I will be ecstatic if theres soccer for July-August.
