RBG is making plenty of money from RBNY.

I doubt that RBNY revenue exceeds expenses.
While the paper value of the franchise is increasing,
that does not put any actual money in RBG coffers.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Can you limit your financial rants to a single thread?

The New Jersey team mentality is strong within Red Bull Global but yeah we’ll still use New York to make it more attractive to the eye of players playing abroad. I’ve been in plenty discussions with neutral and even rival mls fans whether it’s them coming to RBA away or going to see the blue scum play(believe it or not my household is one of the few that’s divided my brother supports nycfc)  as a neutral and then talking to away fans then as well but point is in our discussions the “lack of ambition” for a New York team and market always come up. They talk about the academy being top 5 but the academy model hasn’t really been a recipe for success especially if your senior signings can’t make an impact and set an example. I don’t think I can think of any other mls team that’s consecutively made the playoffs as much as us without at least winning one mls cup. I mean we’re the only team with 20+ playoff apps in the entire league but the team almost every year I’d argue every year has been missing a piece or two we’ll never get with this ownership

How about being a New England Revolution supporter? Five MLS Cup final appearances. Zero wins. Ouch!

Not capable. Too many things in the world boil down to economics. The potential sale of the team likely fits.

If were asking if someone is going to buy thats my opinion as stated.

Everyone has a price.

If money printer goes brrrrrrrrrr then that may be when we get an offer.

If economy collapses then get ready to sit tight with these owners for a LONG TIME.

Agreed but for a company like Red Bull, cash flow is never going to be a problem.  The soda brings in the cash that can be invested in the marketing/assets that are the sports teams.
