Miazga moving to Nantes of French Ligue 1

Those of us who went to France98 saw the USMNT final loss 0-1 to Yugoslavia in Nantes.

Nantes FC finished 9th in Ligue 1 last season, knocked out early in both cups.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

He's a good player. Timing is good for him for the French League. Does well this year and perhaps he makes a permanent move or goes to one of the other top tier leagues

"Obviously, I want to make a living (in soccer), to say the least," he said. Ultimately, our goal is to win the MLS Cup, and I see no reason why we can't." - #4 Tyler Adams

Apparently there is an option to buy, but its very high according to Brian Sciaretta.

That's a positive.

Can't say that I've watched any of his games in France, but you'd think that there's a middle ground between "playing the full 90' for all but 3 games" and "cancel the loan".

Frankly, since I am merely a fan and a not a fancy American soccer writer, I'm going to congratulate Wright-Phillips on a well hit goal. If I was an American soccer writer, I'd claim that the recently retired Henry was wearing an invisibility cloak and carried the ball into the net for the obviously unskilled Wright-Phillips.

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

New coach came in, Miazga was at fault for 2 of the 3 Nantes conceded in his first game, Miazga got benched, then Nantes followed up with a clean sheet and then an away win. Can't blame the manager at all for not wanting to work on or with a player who has been mediocre at best, and who will be gone at the end of the season regardless.
