We lost 11-1 to the first place team in league. The champs from last season aren't playing this season,so this team is the best in the league. We need to be more organized! If we would have played more organized then we would have gotten the result. They just flat out beat us.Our spacing and running need to improve.Lobo will handle the team while I am away in England. GO WOLVES!!!

Yes! Everybody's fired, except for me and J.J. I'm bringing in a team of ringers and we are winning league! :P

All joking aside, we were handed an ass whipping last night. That team was organized, technically sound, and very skilled. No shame in losing to a team of that caliber.

However, our tactical awareness is almost non-existent, along with a serious lack in fitness.

This last match completely exposed that two-fold....

Wolves fall to the Skeezers 4-0.

Missing 4 regulars prpbably didn't help our cause.

We had some chances, but failed to put them away. Two goals were a direct result of poor clearances in the penalty area.

Overall record 2-4.

Quarterfinals begin next week.

Stay tuned...

Oh yeah... right.

Wolves downed 10-2 by Salsa Tango last week. They were an Argie team with mean technical ability and superior fitness.

We held them to 0-0 for the first 20 minutes, but eventually they broke through the defense when we started to get a little tired.

Three players who never played with us filled in the vacant roster spots and that always is a factor.

With Hot Rod's return, my term as caretaker is over and now I can go back to my familiar role of hacking down the opposition's strikers and forwards with fervent delight....

Tonites loss is by far the hardest loss we have had to swallow. We were up 5 to 1 and ended up losing 6 to 5. I don't get how we lost to that team, seriously, what happened was terrible. We were terrible the last twelve minutes, absolute crap. We are still the most out of shape team in the league and that is why we have the losses that we do.We looked great the first half, but those last twelve minutes proved that as a team we are seriously out of shape.JJ isn't quitting after all which is good news.He spoke out of frusturation and that was all. This loss seriously bothers me alot.We need to get our act together as a team and for you drinkers and smokers who play for Wolves, get in shape and go run.And I'm sick of the crying that I hear for playing time,I mean I am seriously fed up with it.If you think this might be you that I am talking about-then it is YOU that I am talking about.

Game tomorrow is at 7:30 p.m. This is the final game of the season. For next season(which starts the very next week) we need two more players that can run non-stop. Just one more would be great, but two would be a huge jump for this team. No more out of shape players PERIOD. If there is a player out there that you know can play and is in shape, post it here and let me know. GO WOLVES!!!!!

I called GG indoor yesterday and informed them that we will not be playing this upcoming season. With that being said, those who plan to continue playing with the team are now training and recovering from injury as well. We need to fill in the gaps that heve been left, particularly Garr as well as finding players that can run a full 45 minutes. We will play again very soon, and when that time comes we will be better than ever and in great shape.

A bummer to not be playing. Lobo is out for at least two months due to injury, that sucks! Wolves will be out and winning in no time. Not playing is a bummer. We need to get playing again, but we also need to regroup and get a full squad together and for those who are injured to recover.

Agreed. I'm itching to play every Thursday night again. I've been doing a little pick up, but nothing substantial. Let's get a full roster again, and return Wolves Athletic to its glory!
