There were times that this match was inspirational, and others that it was emberassing. For both sides!

Irish have work to do after struggle with USA

For starters, they need to get better scrum caps! The US scored a try, they still won but acted like they got kicked out of the competition!

I must admit to thinking the same thing.

Anybody have a feed for this first game? I could really use one.

Side note: I called at least 10 "sports bars" and not one is showing the game... Upsetting

I need to open a bar... I'll call it GTFO, because I'll be saying that a lot since it won't show Baseball, Basketball, or Football. It'll be all Soccer, Hockey, and Rugby...

I hear WNBA games are good to drink to.

The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which "unskilled people reach erroneous conclusions and make unfortunate choices but their incompetence robs them of the metacognitive ability to realize it." The unskilled therefore suffer from illusory superiority, rating their own ability as above average.

Australia 65 - 5 USA

Ouch!

With 3 games played and only 4 points earned, the US is in 4th place in Group C.

We've got one game left against Italy. Once Ireland beats Russia, both the US and Italy should be mathematically eliminated from the tourney.

Meanwhile, in Pool B: England and Scotland are tied for first place, and have a game to play each before facing each other in what should be an epic WC match on October 1st in Auckland.

Pool A should be decided tonight when tied for first place teams New Zealand and France play in Auckland.

Glad I didnt make the effort to watch it live nor will I watch it in one of the 20 showings on Universal today.
But could have been worse, atleast we weren't Japan against the All Blacks.
