I thought this was the United States National team. Oh... At least there are 7 of them. Welcome to the Europication of America. It's nice to see the United States using their minor league system wisely.

Lets hope one of these forwards can score.

Not sure how many of these guys are Americans playing in Germany or German Americans, but we may be close to having a team that can't speak English.

Yeah, but those players aren't usually announced with the initial roster...

And this is a camp, not the roster for the actual qualifying...

Wow! I'm choked up a bit to see such accomplished pros in charge of development. What I saw on this video is the miles distant from parent run soccer. These guys are interested in the players as people, what sort of character they have. It would have been really interesting to see if a guy like Charlie Davies would have had the same journey had guys like this been in charge. This to me is the real test of the Klinsmann era, not the performance of the National team. It is the transformation of player development that matters most.

So very annoyed.

I get an email from US soccer about CONCACAF Olympic qualifying at the HDC. I quickly read the email looking for dates and opponents, then I realize it's for the Mexico Under 23s. Really US soccer? Fuck you. Fuck Mexico.

A noble spirit embiggens the smallest man.

Why would US Soccer host any significant US match at the HDC or in Los Angeles? They got lucky this year with the Gold Cup but then again, that's more CONCACAF than US Soccer. Mex games in L.A. = Mucho Pesos. USA games in Los Angeles = nobody cares. That's all it is and that's the way it will always be. Go US Soccer!

Let's Eat!

Perk was added to the camp to make up for an injury.
