umm...Gilberto Flores was the starting d-mid going into the season. M. Bradley played better, so he won the position. Gilberto also won how many minutes for the Revs? |

M.Bradley did not play better. He was coach's son...that all. and dont start blaming me for the father-son non sense....Show me another coach who would take 17 year old who never played a Pro game before and not only stick him in the starting line up but stick him there out of position. There was no spot for Freddy Adu on DC team but there was a spot for M.Bradley on MetroStars team? this is rediculous(excuse my spelling) , we didnt see Peter Nowak put Adu in D-Mid or diffense just b/c there was no spot for him in attack, did we? and by the time Gilberto got to NE he was out of shape. Who was he suppose to beat for the D_mid position???? S.Joseph and D. Hernandez? come on...he is a talented Brazilian but definately not Ronaldinho talented... |

Yes, he is the coach's son. I'm so glad you put it all in perspective. It's great that you've seen Metro training camp and went to the practices and listened in behind closed doors when Bob and Mo made the decision to bench the great and wonderful Gilberto for that loser Michael. I wish we all had that access.
