With the impact they've made as a whole it makes a shitload of sense.

They've got more sponsors locally than any other team in the league I think. I realize that it's their first year but they hit the ground running with a rocket pack on. Hopefully what they're doing combined with their supporters will show the rest of America what the fuck we've all been trying to do all along.

Pregame pints 15. Ticket to the game 60. Carlsburg, Meatpie and Crisps 16. Seeing an American score on another American at a Premier League match in England; Priceless.

I feel holding off a few years to make sure the crowds stay makes more sense

I don't. The fucking government paid for a good part of that stadium and MLSE is very well seated in the driver's seat of what happens next. They've shot up with the locals with a powerful drug called soccer and now they just have to continue to feed them. Waiting one year is a good idea, but they've already got rabid fans and they're the only team that has a national fucking network covering all of their games.

Muthafuckers from Winnipeg are going to be coming down to see a match if they can get a ticket. What choice do they have? It's all they've got.
