yesturdays trip was yet again another fun 1 after a few years since my last 1 this 1 was just as fun as the others i remember the result was bad yet again 2-1 loss but a fun ride there and back....

i dont know which movies are the worst air line flicks or the esc flicks chinese cats shooting and killing and over acting after getting shot, and how come every cat that got shot flys thru a glass window...that really fake ass car chase was pretty sad you are going to tell me after crashing thru cars and walls and shooting each other with machine guns the bad guys get away by shooting 1 time at the front tire with a revolver?????

the second flick was a lost flick from 1981... IT SHOULD HAVE STAYED LOST!!!

Her are some New RECORDS and Facts of this trips.. records are ment to be broken so here are the new ones that were set yesturday...

Shoes thrown into the field : 2

ESC Members returning Home with out Shoes : 1

Youngest person on a ESC bus Trip : Keanu Facundo Loyola 4 years and 8 months..

Number of movies that were just plain bad: 2

The mental image of that dude walking in his socks in the streets of manhattan was too much....

the bottom of his socks were as black as night bleech wont be able to get that filth out!!!!

special thanks to fatcat who gave my kid the cool skull t shirt and now i know where i'll get my tat during the fall...

all in all a fun time and hope a playoff trip some where will happen...

If only the bus had a DVD player it would have been much better.

Other records broken:

Number of cheesy 80's songs reinvented with a Metro twist: Lost count
Number of Rev Security Officers: 15
Number of missing Kearny Army buses: 1

As far as Carlisle go, I'm sure most of our fans and especially management would LOVE to have a SG with the enthusiasm ESC shows. There's been a group trying to start something similar in Carlisle this season but they aren't even remotely close to the ESC. - Harraby Lad
"You had plenty of songs. "Chelsea reject" to the goalkeeper. I thought that was fantastic. I had never heard that before." - Harry Redknapp's impression of the Empire Supporters Club

FYI... Ives mentioned our one shoe chants multiple times on the blog. Even commented on the shoe being thrown the field. Good stuff.

I just want to know who that guy was that threw the shoe back to our selection. That guy was awesome. I got a photo or two of him will load them up tomorrow night.

Thanks to everyone who showed up, relatively on time at that, including one person who was kind enough to make cupcakes for the entire trip. Also, thanks to the F.O. for giving us a signed team shirt for the raffle, won by a first time bus trip participant and a new ESC member this year.

And, a big rolleyes.gif to the jackass from beantown who nearly started a giant "issue" by trying to steal a drumstick.

On the videos, we had about 10 DVDs and only a handfull of tapes as emergency backups...oops.

Thanks to the driver for replaying Mad Max on the way home, however. Got us back to the city in under 3.5 hours with a stop in Jersey and a detour in Ct. due to traffic, which isn't too shabby.

And finally, thanks to Joe Vide & Jeff Parke for clapping for the away support on the walk off of the field. It was appreciated.

"Let me give you a little advice. There's three rules that I live by: Never get less than 12 hours sleep, never play cards with a guy whose got the same first name as a city, and never go near a lady whose got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick with that, and everything else is cream cheese."

Thanks to the driver for (channelling) Mad Max on the way home

At times, it seemed like he was driving a sports car instead of a bus! ph34r.gif
The Route 1 move around the I-95 stoppage was as effective as Reis' clearance to Twatman. blink.gif
