Took a fairly good look at a couple of San Ho games recently. They are tough to play on a small field. They depend upon physical play to disrupt the opponent mentally as well as tactically. Coach Knackered has his team playing a lot of early balls to the forwards who basically wrestle, push and throw people around constantly (even when the play is nowhere near them). It looks like third or fourth division soccer from the old school and it seems to work quite well in MLS.QFT. I'm really tired of all the big time writers and such on twitter being all up on their sack. They aren't that good. I would be happier to come up against them in the playoffs than RSL or Seattle.
It occurs to me that San Ho plays a brand of soccer the refs seem to understand. Perhaps that's a reflection on the general quality of the referees in MLS.
