I'm actually surprised I was able to find the Allocation list
Should be Vancouver with the #1 pick after Montreal selected Eddie Johnson

Lee Nguyen was in a "Weighted lottery"
I dunno but I don't think that's the same

It looks like one of the only two competitive teams in the Scottish Premier League is going to make some drastic personnel moves this week or so. Rangers are likely to release many if not all the players that make any kind of salary, including Mo Edu and Carlos Bocanegra.

I think Edu will find a home elsewhere in Europe, but I can see Bocanegra coming back to MLS at this point.

Can anyone direct me to a link for the process for re-entry for these guys, should they wish to return to MLS? I'm curious where Bocanegra will land.

tough time for Rangers fans.....

Including a raping by San Jose to round the preseason out 5-0.

My brother was at that game, and he was telling me that the goats look really bad. That just makes me happy.

A "new" source to go with some of the other standbys...

Steve Davis has a new home at NBC Sports. He's got a new blog (Pro Soccer Talk) that looks like it just started today.

I like:

Long story short, ProSoccerTalk will add layers of informed context to the news. We’ll be heavy on MLS and the U.S. national teams, but we’re thinking globally too, watching EPL, Champions League, Euro 2012, etc.

tough time for Rangers fans.....

Now granted i know very little about this . . .

but i can't help but think the SPL losing their Setanta contracts lead to alot of their money issues. The big SPL clubs were very dependent on the Setanta money, and when Setanta went broke, it had to be a death blow to their revenue streams.

Which makes me ask, why didn't the SPL bring down their asking price and get at least some money from a USA TV contract with GolTV or FSC?

Nice... always liked Davis' coverage and even-handed approach.
