I liked what I saw of Herron when he was at Chicago.
Wiki has him at Puntarenas FC, whatever that is and for what wiki is worth.
I don't remember him doing anything much at Columbus but he might have been demoralized by just being on Columbus.
A little intimidation from Herron might be a good thing, if I was a defender I'd be leary that he might go off and choke slam me.

Herron is on loan at the moment, and MAY sign into the tico's 1st division. However, as his rights are in Chicago now, he may want to re-think that. Only time will tell at this point.

Herron has got to be one of the worst finishers I've ever seen. He gets in great positions which is half the battle, but by his age if he isn't finishing, he never will. That being said, I'd still take him and play him a few games and see what happens.

My question is this, why all the secrecy in MLS? These stories always get broken overseas, why couldn't Guppy let Luis break this story? I don't get it, at least Luis would have an interesting story to write for the Trib giving the Fire some needed column space before the season starts and before baseball preseason begins to fill all the pages.

Ives is reporting that it is Fabrice Pancrate that they are looking at. He sounds reasonable enough but hard to get too excited about a guy who isn't even playing for his team as of late.

This would be a nice upgrade and he is still some what young at 27. At least he is not some 32 year old like WanCop! I like this move and if he can come in under DP $$ great. Sorry but he has played for Real Betitis and PSG that is an upgrade in my mine at the forward/wing spot.
