Just got the text. I think I'm going to cancel that service. The last time it gave me good news was when it said the Galaxy scored against Chicago in the last game of the season - a lie.

FAAACK!

Any chance that Beckham's influence will help him stop falling down all the time - or at the very least, lose that "I smell cat shit" look he's always sporting?

I'm going to do my best to give him the benefit of the doubt and the chance to prove himself that I afford anyone who pulls on the shirt. But I've got a bad feeling...

Thankfully, the Galaxians relocated. I couldn't take their slobbering over his ass all season.

Same thing happened to me. I canceled the service after the Chicago match....

I hope Ruiz is signed at less than his current salary($325,00 base), otherwise this is a lame move.

I want this Ruiz:

not this one:

This is either going to be really good or a train wreck. No middle ground.

He can't be worse than the 2007 Number 20...

happy we got a striker but at what price ?

how much is the salary cap ? (around 2.7 million $ or so I think)

Becks 400k
Donovan 350k
Ruiz 325k
= 1'075'000+ $

1'625'000 $ left for all other players = this would be suicide

I agree with Bones, not much middle ground with Ruiz. I guess this brings up the whole 'can Landon and Carlos play together?' issue.

He's a goalscorer and he wants to be in LA. I've a feeling we'll all end up glad he's back in LA but yelling at him every time he trips over the line marking the penalty area.

I wished we would of signed Dallas' other striker: Cooper. (As talked about in a different thread)

Well, if Ruiz still flops and sucks big time, we can still yell: "Hey, Ruiz suck on these!"

However, I hope he finds his form and leads us to the Cup!

Like stated above, I like the Pescado of old and not new.

I like the move, the guy is a proven scorer and is coming back to a place that was of much of success to him.

Welcome back Fish.

You know, all the MLS conspiracy mongers rushing to condemn this deal is going to make Big Soccer crash.

Ha!
