The magazine lacks any world soccer news. Thats the great part about mags for example printed in England... you can read about teams in other leagues... Germany... Spain....Russia... hell even the MLS. MLS Magazine is very typical for americans in general... very isolationist when it comes to sports. Thats really my only gripe with it but it is pretty informative on the goings on in the MLS.

I can live without the out of date stats that other country mags have.
It's MLS Magazine... of course it's going to have a MLS focus. I'd expect the same out of Russian Premier League Magazine.

Do you read anything about other clubs when you buy United or Chelsea's monthly?
No.

Don't begin to compare FOURFOURTWO to MLS mag. It's not the same and their focus obviously isn't either.

Pregame pints 15. Ticket to the game 60. Carlsburg, Meatpie and Crisps 16. Seeing an American score on another American at a Premier League match in England; Priceless.

Considering its the only nice looking magazine thats printed here it would be nice to see more world coverage... thats all I was really saying but yeah there really is no comparison to FourFourTwo and besides.... why would I buy United or Chelsea's monthly anyways? It's all about Newcastle United!!! TOON ARMY!

I look beyond the outside of the magazine and read those funny letters inside that form words, sentences, and eventually paragraphs before making smoe judgement on whether something is nice or not.

It's no wonder the rest of the world sees us as a bunch of idiots.

MLS Magazine is very typical for americans in general...

Funny, this magazine is produced by Brits in ENGLAND. So much for stereotypes. Stick to the Americans are fat ones.

So we're so fucking lazy we can't even make a magazine about our own league and have it make money?

God, we suck.

I dont think MLS itself has the recourses or money to do a magazine of this quality. Therefore it must farm it out and the only people willing to do that were these guys. Actually I forget who but they also do another Big Magazine from the UK, I dont think its FF2, but I could be wrong. They only took the risk because of thae whole Beckham deal, hence the Beckham covers. The market however isnt ready for an MLS magazine unless you REALLY push it which these guys really havent done. When the internet has 99% of the breaking and interesting stories what the point in buying this thing?

Starting next month MLS Magazine will be known simply as The Soccer Magazine and will be bigger and better than ever !

according to their website anyway .....

Other than David Beckham, has anyone made any money on MLS ?
