Its opening day and I have high hopes about most of the new chants.... I had a lot of people saying don't do the second part to This is LA. The We love Ya chant was effective but we need everyone on board.

I was pretty hammered but I remember somebody telling me during the game that it's a big Union Ultras chant or something. I have no concept who it was, I was pretty faded, but they were pretty adamant about it...

Whoever that was, explain what you were talking about.

just a thought..this particular song is normally sung at all celtic matches..but i think we could do it aswell...now wed have to learn the lyrics and the melody but after that were golden....

i really like that chant, but i almost shit myself when FSC commentators introduced the union ultras during the shitvas pregame and let them sing "one of their chivas songs". it was nearly verbatim. its tainted to me now. sorry. (sorry i couldnt find a link to it)

Maybe it's just me but I think this chant still needs some tweaking of the lyrics. I couldn't quite make out the chant at the game but I knew the tune right away. If these were the lyrics that were indeed sung, we should probably drop the "and that's the way we like it......" and just kept it true to the song and sing, "from now until forever."

Guys, I'm a definite 'newbie' here but I was wondering if you all sing the Galaxy version of "Carefree". I am a big Chelsea supporter and it is one of my favorites to sing. I think it would work perfectly at Galaxy matches. Then you can also change the lyrics (like the way L'pool fans butchered it) to say:

Fuck off Chivas USA
You ain't got no history
7 major titles, 2 league cups
That's what we call history

"Carefree" is all over youtube, so is the l'pool version as well unfortunately. Just an idea for everyone, cheers

What was up with the "Let's go Lakers" and "We need David Beckham" chants on Saturday?

It's just people being frustrated with what we saw on the pitch. I got a chuckle out of the laker chant and booed at the beckham one. I was chanting "were an expansion team" and i heard many other funny things being yelled.
