What: BBQ and Bike Jousting
Where: Victoria Park in Carson - Near the stadium
When: Sunday November 23rd - Immediately following MLS Cup

As discussed at Joxer Daly's, we will be opening this shindig up to all comers, and inviting fans from other MLS teams who are in town for the MLS Cup. In addition to crowning the "LARS Bike Jousting Champion", we'll also have one between the different MLS team fans in attendance who will be competing for the coveted title of "North American Bike Jousting Champion".

New Rules for Jousting:

- LARS Jousters must bring their own bike
- All Jousters must sign a waiver to participate

Traditional Rules for Jousting
- Do NOT aim for the head. See first video in link below for example of what NOT to do.
- Single elimination. When you're unseated - you're out.
- I reserve the right to change the rules, create new rules or ignore the rules as I see fit.

Updates 11/20/2008:

1. Scratch the brats and side dish thing - we're having tacos catered in!!!
2. Before the game the New York Supporter's will be renting a big ass commercial grill, and cooking up breakfast. We are invited.

Tacos will include:
- Carne Asada
- Pollo
- Carnitas
- Tortillas
- Rice & beans
- Green and Red Salsa
- Cilantro & Onions
- Limes

What we still need:

- Bikes! I'm bringing two, but we'll still need more.
- Beer! Tommy - are you getting a couple kegs or what?
- A map of where everything is. Chris - how you coming on this?

Don't forget

To find the can and throw in some dough before you leave.

I am HOPING we can go, but I do not want to confirm yet, as it is RIGHT AFTER T-Day and I am also supposed to have family over that day.... but it would be great if they could come with us... Nemo's brothers are fabulous.

Just tossing it out there, so lets not jump all over me

Are we inviting the traveling supporters group of whichever teams make the final (with the exception of Chicago)?

aaaaaaaaaah, yeah, you might want to go back and read the first post:

"...we will be opening this shindig up to all comers, and inviting fans from other MLS teams who are in town for the MLS Cup."

I'm not sure "the obvious" has much meaning on this board anymore...
