no other team will come close to offering C.C. the $$$ the yankees did. so its up to a california team to come close. C.C. lives up north in the offseason but is relocating to southern california. the dodgers need to sign him. if they dont then it will be a shame. he's not only a great player but is also involved in the community. also promotes baseball in urban communities. so if the dodgers sign him not only will he be an ace but he'll probably build baseball diamonds all over l.a. win-win for team and community.

Seriously, this thread has the potential to be the best MLB thread EVER.

The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which "unskilled people reach erroneous conclusions and make unfortunate choices but their incompetence robs them of the metacognitive ability to realize it." The unskilled therefore suffer from illusory superiority, rating their own ability as above average.

For that much, they can have 'em. I'd rather the Parking Lot Guy lock Manny for the last 1-1/2 productive years of his career than have prices at the Ravine jacked up for five years longer...

Wow big move by the champs, this is a great pick up for them. Raul Ibanez is very underrated hitter, great pick up.
The boogeyman is afraid of Chuck Norris. But before Chuck Norris goes to sleep, he checks his closet to make sure GEORGE PARROS isn't there.
