So Razov just got hired as The Galaxy's new under 14 coach. . . .

So the players will scores a goal in a cup match then flip themselves off? Oh, and also be horrible, horrible people...

Nice!

Linkin Park at HDC

Just in time to make the field look great for the end of the season. Not that we've come to expect anything different.

The most surprising thing about that bit of news is that Linkin Park still even exists...

I would so be there....if it wasn't for the fact that I now live in Indiana. :(

I once told a coworker that he made me understand Linkin Park.

According to Swedish reports, Forward/Midfielder Christian "Chippen" Wilhelmsson has signed with the LA Galaxy.

In an interview with fotbollskanalen.se, Wilhelmsson states that he has signed a six month contract with the Galaxy with a team option for three years. A Galaxy spokesman said on Monday that the 32-year-old attacker is in San Jose with the Galaxy Reserve League squad and is expected to participate in that match. The Galaxy confirmed their interest in the Swede following Saturday's 2-0 victory over the Vancouver Whitecaps.

During the interview, the Swedish International states that he believes playing with the Galaxy will help him re-gain a spot on the Swedish national team and that he turned down offers from clubs in Russia and the Middle East before deciding to join the Galaxy. Wilhelmsson joins the Galaxy after stops in the Middle East as well as a 14-year career in Europe and 78 appearances for his native Sweden, having tallied nine goals.

Wilhelmsson, who is currently a free agent last played with Saudi club Al Hilal, but his last competitive game came on August 15th when Sweden hosted Brazil on August 15th in Stockholm at Råsunda Fotbollstadion. The match was the last game for the site of the 1958 World Cup Final as the primary stadium for Sweden ahead of the opening of the new Friends Arena.

As stated when it was revealed that the Wilhelmsson was training with the club, the Galaxy currently have seven international players, but one is occupied by Brazilian defender Leonardo, who is currently on the disabled list. Thus opening up a potential spot for Wilhelmsson.

Yeah? So what!

This article is silly.

One can only have "signature wins" in a league where the clubs are stable over long periods of time. His discussion of the Swede assumes that MLS clubs change quickly, to the extent that one guy can make a difference. So which is it?

I hope Landon (and maybe Omar?) can boss this team. Robbie is going to do what Robbie is going to do, the Swede has a history of not playing nicely with others, and his signing seems to be an admission that Beckham is now going to stand deep in the midfield and play long balls. So, um, yeah.

And while I'm at it, I want to note how well Sarvas has adapted to the league. He still has his liabilities, but he has really focused on becoming a good MLS player. And I suspect that Juninho's rebirth is strongly related to his time on the field with his countryman. In fact his bad play probably was too. Juninho was probably so embarrassed by Davey Lopes Jr that is hurt his play, and he's so proud of Sarvas that's he's killing it now.

As of now, AT&T U-verse TV is not carrying Time Warner Cable SportsNet or Time Warner Cable Deportes. Send an email and tweet to AT&T U-verse TV demanding your Lakers!

The Lakers are matter of profound indifference to me. But does this mean we're shit out of luck for the Gs' games, too? That would suck all kinds of ass.

C'mon, Gs, make Omar your third DP already!
