Honestly, Ben is a great contemorary for any of us, but for me personally, he is someone whom without knowing me was able to get to know me, and share of himself. Someone who was able to see my faults and accept me despite them. Someone with the wisdom and intelligence to know how to get the best (or worst) out of those he chooses too. It is a rare thing for someone his age, but it has been a delight to know him and work with him. I look forward to knowing him for many years to come.
I still got $300 on shaving the beard.

Is it too early to start petitioning the board to approach the Fire on putting up a new Ring of Fire banner?

Umm, if it's the same bottle I think it is, I might have had something to do with that....Ben Burton once purchased a bottle of Chivas Regal as a gift to WB05 (or me, I can't remember) and drank most of it before even giving it.

He was my positive influence when I thought the FO couldn't possibly do something to lose my trust. They go ahead and prove me wrong.
He was there to let me know the ISA was trying their best to undo their mistakes. Chicag Fire!!!!
You won't and can't believe the many sacrifices this asshole has done for EVERYONE. Not just for those in the ISA or those who cheer in Section 117/118, but everybody throughout the stadium and even in those fun road trips we can't wait to enjoy. Ben Burton was busy making sure the I's were dotting and the T's crossed.
99.9% of you would have cried in two days if you had to step in Ben shoes/sandals (or whatever hippies wear) during the season.
There are other people who deserve praise but you are still are on the board so you are going to have to wait.
so Ben Burton, Ol Bearded Stinky One.
Thanks for all that you have done, it wont be forgotten by me.
Goo Fire!!!!

Seriously I'd say closer to two minutes. Honestly I can't fathom all the massive multitasking he was able to do under his reign AND keep his sanity.
Ben is a legend in my mind like a certain former GM that we all love as well. One in a million type of person... In damn good way.
