"Midfield general"?!?

Could probably use a central defender too. Why does it seem like our last two coaches have had an infatuation with bringing in outside backs?

Both can have the tendency to feel like self-inflicted torture. You wonder why you do it at all. But when it’s over, you can’t wait to do it again. To New England we go, then."

It's encouraging knowing Hans and Soler realize we have no one to fill that attacking midfield position. Unlike JCO who would dance around it and plug in random players there. Hopefully they find someone to fill that role. I'm confident they will.

"A forward would be a DP and would targeted as a post-World Cup signing."

That's as clear a Henry confirmation as we have had yet. Will Raul be on the Spanish WC roster or will he free up sooner? Meaning, if the target was Raul would Soler bother with the "post-world cup" phrase?

As an aside, why does everyone who interviews Soler forget to ask kim about Lindpere?

Maybe not, but he certainly is closer to that than anyone else on the roster at the moment. Midfield general does not always equal Ronaldhino style flair creator. Posie and solid decision making is more important.

For sure, but do you want to play DVB in the center?
