Hey guys & gals,
At last count, LSanchez tallied 2 flags & 1 murder pole (a broken, pointy pvc pipe which inexplicably keeps making its way back to 138 thanks to our bright and talented interns) in our inventory.
As some of you already know, I'm putting in some time and effort into changing this. Apart from some homemade banners which are in the works, I'm also looking at buying about 2 dozen blue/gold checkered flags. I've already dropped some cash on the banners which is my donation to the group, but I'm running low on disposable income for the remainder of this project, so far I've been doing this largely on my own.
In short, I need about $160.00 to break even if I purchase these flags (and the PVC pipe to mount them).

ps. I'm going to do everything I can to make sure that we don't have to bring banners/flags to and from the stadium (if only because 35+ flags and banners will be bulky) -- I need your help in making sure that people DO NOT TAKE FLAGS HOME. Ed and I have seen newbies (and worse, disappearing newbies) march out of the stadium, flags in tow. Just grab it from them and let them know that the stuff has to stay. Our interns are sufficiently gifted at making banners / flags disappear, we do not need help from visitors who think they get to take these home as souvenirs.

Once more, thank you for your donations. Your generosity made my heart grow three times this day so I decided to make an additional donation to LARS.
Lets just say we're gonna look damn good on opening day. I still need hands for work on the "home made" banners this weekend. Tentatively, we're looking at Saturday, Noon, at Victoria Park or somewhere in the HDC neighborhood. Let me know if you want to help.
