Fk it just let the younger guys battle it out. Almost all of the stud gks in mls were once unproven players. Very few come over with impressive resumes . They were just given a chance.

We took the best gk in the superdraft. Let's see if he is any good. I'm all for the young guys battling it out. You bring in a 35 yr old guy, you have to pay him big $$$ and he won't do any better.

This !Now we have a guy who can actually pressure a guy and force turnovers on their side of the field. Something like 33% of all goals are scored off of turnovers in the final third so it is essential to have a guy like Luke out there riding defenders.
