The first half we are away 10 and home for 7, including all 4 Western Conference away games (and 3 at home).
The 2nd half is packed with Eastern Conference opponents, only 2 against the West, both at home. The farthest we we have to travel in the 2nd half is Houston, KC and Montreal.
That should be a blessing for the "oldsters" who won't have to travel anywhere near as much.
Interesting that our most likely foe for the Eastern crown is KC and we will play all 3 against them in the last 9 games of the season, the last two at home.
Arguably two of our other three toughest opponents, Columbus and Chicago, we play Columbus only once in the 2nd and Chicago twice, all at home.
If we can get through the 1st half of the season respectably, then we should be set up to make a strong run.

Anyone know what ESPN's commentary team is going to be now that Harkes is dismissed? I'm hoping they bring the Mexican guy into the booth - can't think of his name. He was great during the U.S. Mexico Gold Cup game, really added an element to the analysis that we don't often get with American announcers (of which I'm lumping in Ian Darke who is quite Americanized, although I don't mind him.)
Taylor Twellman. I expect Healey to still do PBP. You can go be disappointed now.
