I'm currently addicted to Triple Town wasting many many hours trying to solve this puzzle game. Also Gas Buddy is great appt to find the cheapest gas around you or in neighboring city's. Zedge lets you download just about any ringtone, wallpaper, and notification tone there is. For all you sprint users there's NBA Mobile lets you watch or listen to any basketball game and shows you stats in real time.

You need to root your phone and install an app like titanium to remove them.
