Yeah that only means they lose 3 games before Christmas and 1 game after Christmas. They never go lower than 2nd place and not by many points at all. My point being, why would there be an issue if we built up a 12 point lead in the first half of the season and held on to it for the year?? Just saying.

A sports team is playing well now, but may not play well later. Or they might, but who really knows. They should remember that it'll be good if they continue to play well late in the season, even though there are no indications that they don't know that. What tremendous insight! Sounds like it was written by a 4th grader.
