Dos Santos for sale...

This vato is not even playing in the final. Oh well, maybe his 2012 Olympics play will get him signed in the MLS....

I would approve of this Mexican coming to the Gs.

When Mexico reaches a milestone, I'm usually bitter and pissed off that they will now have something to hold against the US. BUT, I am more pissed off and bitter about how the US blew its chance of playing in this tournament. Damn Caleb Porter.

Not really rooting against Mexico on this one. Expecting Brazil to win but am preparing for a Mexico Gold.

I did not care much for or about either team in the gold medal match, but watching Japan and Korea all through the tournament was very exciting.

Korea just seems to be able to out muscle Japan. Koo for Korea is a dick, but the kind of dick you want on your team.

Koreans...
Always gotta push it too far.

There is a tiny rocky island between Korea (who call it Dokdo Island) and Japan (who call it Takeshima) that Korea possessed and Korean fishermen used as a fishing base in the 1800's. When Japan annexed Korea in 1912, it became part of Japan like all the rest. When Japan was defeated, the island reverted back to Korea. Now Japan claims it has just as much a historical right to the place as their fishermen used it too. In all likelihood, there is natural gas under it...ANYWAY....

A Korean player was denied his bronze medal after putting a comment about Korea's sovereignty over Dokdo Island onto sign and showing it after the Japan-Korea game. Political statements are the main thing the Olympics doesn't allow, because if they did, it would be ridiculously politicized.

Dumbass. I hope he doesn't get the medal, is not exempted from compulsory service and he serves it on Dokdo.
