It's Game Day!

The Mighty L.A. G's welcome the Runt of the Triplets Cascadia to the HDC for the first of the last 5 home games of the season.

Van Couve has lost 3 in a row but, are still in a playoff spot and will look to catch us this holiday weekend tired and distracted after this latest schedule crunch. 

They do have some players that could hurt us: the high flying Darren Mattocks, the Euro NuRo Barry Robson, the speedy Dane Richards, and the crafty Young-Pyo Lee.

But, thankfully, The Big 3 are rested. Everyone else is PUMPED with confidence. And, we are at home.



Well, according to reports, our captain isn't quite ready for MLS this weekend but, might be ready for international duty next Friday. No matter, we have a bench. And, that bench knows how to score goals.

The Silly Summer Season is over. This Labor Day weekend we begin the work of rising up to playoff form and it starts with striking down the Whitecaps.

2-0 is the final. This leaves us at 43 points, 6 ahead of Vancouver. We're tied with Seattle in third place, although the Refunders have 3 games in hand on us. The first of them is tomorrow at Dallas, so it'll be a good occasion to cheer for Kevin Hartman. And those other guys in from of him, I suppose.
