However, I see Fake's keeper Hugo Chavez is wearing yellow. Clearly Fake Salt Lake wants women to get breast cancer.

C'mon, Gs, make Omar your third DP already!

Buddle in for Magee at 61 minutes. Maybe he can take a non-lameass shot.

Seemingly dozens of utterly useless corner kicks tonight, too.

And it keeps getting better: Donovan has to come out after a collision; Villarreal comes in for him. Wilhelmsson in for Meyer, too, at 85 minutes.

Jesus H. - easily the Gs' worst effort since the crapfest on the carpet in Seattle. This year's team just does not show up for big games. Hope Donovan is okay.

Damn those those fuckers from Utah. How dare they come here and score 2 goals, beat up Landon and make me worried about our playoff chances.

We did seem to quit kinda early tonight.

Fuck.

They are good, though.

Double Damn. (Loss and Injury to Donovan)

I despise and rate RSL at the same time.
Clearly one of the best MLS teams in the last few years and at least an even match to the Gs + they're fun to watch. Usually it's just end to end stuff between them.
Don't like RSL physical play at times (just as the G's complaing counterparts), but mostly I'm still angry about the 09 Cup.

Depending on Seattles result today, the G's can forget about 3rd place and maybe even should rest starters for the playoffs/playin game.

Don't mind them having that playoff play in game, but would prefer it to be the Whitecaps and not Hartman's Dallas.

Saunders save in the 93 minute or so was world class btw.

I don't believe we can finish lower than 4th place
So even if we played a play in game it would be at the HDC

I wanted to see Wilhemsson in earlier. He needs more time with guys.

Franklin was getting up the wing but we had very little runs up the middle.

Todd was hurt and now, Landon might be out for a while?

We're screwed.

Agreed. Plus I don't get making only one substitution the first 80+ minutes when we're losing and whatever we're doing on offense isn't working.

To paraphrase Bernie Bickerstaff, some seasons you're the pigeon, and some seasons you're the statue. Still, if we can pull this one off it would be one for the ages (which is what I say when it looks like we most likely are, in fact, screwed).

Meyer is not even close to an AJ replacement and this is something that worries me. Although Gaul did a little better filling in for Todd.

If both Sarvas and Juninho are not on their game when Beckham's on the field the team struggles.

RSL's backline blocked a ridiculous amount of shots. I just can't decide if it was dumb luck or not...

LARS does not do well with 6PM start times.

Valiant attempts to prod the stragglers were actually kind amusing though..

If you're not creepin', you're not trying...

As much as I love the BAMF, when that's happening, he's not going to be the one to provide the spark. And that brings me back to the question of why Bruce waited until the last few minutes to put Wilhelmsson in.

I thought our shooting was just really weak.

This game started so good and ended on such a sour note. Test one for the G's in October = Fail. The teams ahead of the G's on points, both in the East and West, just look more disciplined than the G's. Without AJ and Duni in the backline, this team is set for a first round exit. I wish Franklin was better.
